MISSION AND OBJECTIVES

The purpose of the Association of Pilet dit Jolicoeur (ADPDJ) is to bring together the descendants, in direct line or by marriage, of Louis Pilet dit Jolicoeur and his wife Thérèse Barbeau dit Boisdoré, within a group organized in order to allow them to work efficiently on the reconstitution, the conservation and the diffusion of the history of our ancestors, to establish the genealogy of the various families and to fraternize.

To achieve this mission, the Association has set the following objectives:

 To bring together in association, any person, member or ally of the Pilet dit Jolicoeur family, or any person having an interest in this family;

 To organize or hold conferences, meetings, assemblies, exhibitions for the promotion, development and popularization of history, genealogy or any other subject related to the Pilet dit Jolicoeur family;

 To encourage any person, member or ally of the Pilet dit Jolicoeur family to transmit to the Pilet dit Jolicoeur fund, all documents, photos, newspaper clippings likely to add to the history of the family;

 To print, edit, distribute any publications for the above purposes, to establish a library of publications related to the history of the Pilet dit Jolicoeur family;

 To acquire by purchase or otherwise, to own and to operate he movable and immovable property necessary for the above-mentioned purposes and to provide to the members services of all kinds in connection with the goals of the corporation.

 For these purposes, to solicit and receive from any government, institutions, individual or corporation financial assistance, privately or publicly, donations, bequests and other contributions of the same nature in money, in movable and immovable property, to administer such donations, bequests and contributions, to organize subscription campaigns to raise funds for charitable purposes.
