THE ASSOCIATION OF PILET DIT JOLICOEUR

The Association of Pilet dit Jolicoeur (ADPDJ) was incorporated on August 20, 2011 under Part III of the Companies Act. It is a non-profit organization.

The Association has a charter, by-laws and a code of ethics. The members of the Association pay an annual fee, to be renewed at the beginning of the fiscal year, on September 1st of each year. By doing so, they contribute to the maintenance of their association and to the maintenance and development of the services it offers. In addition to the annual contribution of the members, the Association relies on donations from supporters and revenues from the organization of certain activities to finance its actions.
The Association of Pilet dit Jolicoeur currently has about forty members from different regions of Quebec and even from the United States. Most of them are descendants, in direct line or by marriage, of Louis Pilet dit Jolicoeur and his wife Thérèse Barbeau dit Boisdoré. The Association also counts among its members people interested in the history and activities of the Pilet dit Jolicoeur family.

By extension, the Association is also interested, on a documentary level, in other families not associated with the Pilets and who also bear the name Jolicoeur.

The Association is made up of a Board of Directors of volunteer members who meet four times a year to deal with current affairs. It holds a general meeting for all members once a year in September.
